    Can't Close OneDrive

I can't find the previous ability to close/exit OneDrive from the systray icon. The option to do so is no longer there

The only way I could find was to closed it thru the Task Manager, but it doesn't even appear in the "Apps" category, as you would expect

you must scroll to the Background Processes to find it

There must be good explanation for this???

In the top pic I notice a drop down arrow after "Pause Syncing".
    Maybe something in there?

Right you are! I wonder how many users had the same reaction I did?

So annoying. I'd sure like to hear the explanation for the change, and not alerting the users about it?

Having to uncover it from it's secret hiding place. Digging three deep to close it. I mean, you can't exactly close it by mistake, because you still get this.

    Defies logic. Rant over

    Thanks so much.

@kitpzyxmsir No problem. I've been caught by many of those drop down arrows myself.

This added drop down arrow step is new behavior that must have come in on the most recent 23.066.0326.0005 update around the 14th as I don't remember seeing this last week. I only log on and off for what are my personal infrequent OneDrive folder changes.

It's called human engineering where it's to Microsoft's advantage that you stay logged in rather than not, and so it's no real surprise there's another step to get out. My guess is they're counting on a significant percentage of users who won't bother to look any further.

And it's not just Microsoft, there are other apps these days that tend to obfuscate the exit path for similar self serving reasons.

But I'm of the age where I just shrug my shoulders and roll my eyes cause in the business world this is not new, it goes back to - Caveat Emptor.
