I thank all again for your comments and help. I have decided not to use the Samsung Disk Migration software.

SierraPorter, if you are still watching this thread, hope you don't mind answering a few questions. I did check the Macrium website and would prefer a once and done clone process.

Free versions of software are typically limited capabilities compared to Full versions and sometimes add unwanted "stuff". Will the Free Macrium product allow me to move particians and expand the unused space to the C: partician?

After I am done with the clone will the Macrium software uninstall cleanly without leaving files and registries? I noticed that the Free version was 20 day trial after which I'm pretty sure they will offer upgrade to the Full version which may continue?

    Thanks in advance!

    Reliable, easy, flexible and free:
diskgenius free version DiskGenius: Data Recovery, Partition Manager, Backup & Disk Utilities
This looks like it might do everything macrium does plus MiniTool

it is not intended for regular imaging, there is no scheduling.

I use Macrium for cloning and mintool for partition resizing. Does the DiskGenius do both of those ?
