People app does not allow me to import my contacts

    Hi,

I am using Windows 10. I need to organize my contacts because I need to print many of them out. But right now they are in a folder called "contacts" and they are comprised of separate text files for each contact. Each on ends with ".contact". (See the attached screenshot.) I need to organize them like I used to (years ago) with "address book." I have heard that the People App is the new way to do that. But, after finding out how to open the People App, I don't see a way to import the text files from my contacts folder. How do I organize these contact files so I can print many of them?

    Thanks in advance,

    Vincent

The People app syncs with contacts in your Outlook account and doesn't let you export contacts. I do that from Outlook which I have as part of MS Office.
