    Can't "Link to Wndows"

It was working yesterday. I'm hoping there someone has the latest "magic spell" to get this to work. I have a Samsung s10e. Is there an up to date tutorial here?

I thought all the past misery getting this to connect was behind us, or maybe I'm doing something wrong, but none of the methods currently suggested don't solve the issue. I'm put in a loop of trying to link, signing in, etc., and eventually taken back to the beginning of the process. I tried all the links on the available tutorial pages, but none of the suggestions there help. They also appear out of date, but who knows, since they are not dated?

Also, can I please get an explanation of how to get that 9 digit code, because I can never get access to it. It never appears.

I have some images to illustrate the steps taken

Maybe this was from yesterday? I f not, how can it know if my phone battery is low if we're not connected. Battery level is not low.

    even this doesn't work

Sorry for too much information. I just wanted to make sure I was reporting the whole experience.

The following steps show how I reset Phone Link on my PC and Link to Windows on my phone.
Note the QR Code was shown by Phone Link on the PC. All I had to do was scan it with Link to Windows on the phone.

    On PC EventHorizon:

Windows Settings > Apps > Phone Link

    Click on Reset

Open Phone Link. Proceed to steps and select Pair with QR Code

    On Samsung S21 Phone

Locate and open Link to Windows

Select the computer you want to reconnect to

    Select Remove

    Select Add computer

    Select Continue
Scan QR Code on computer screen.

Thanks so much. I will certainly follow your tutorial in the future. I think resetting did the trick, and I was also able to set a pin code.

Question. I am confused about one ongoing step: "Go to www.aka.ms/addComputer" in your browser." A search for this, and other similar url's suggested in the Phone LInk setup always ends up the same way, with a trip to nowhere.

Clicking in those types of links end up in a blank tab

When you first run Phone Link on your PC it says "On your Android phone, go to www.aka.ms/yourpc". That step is to install Link to Windows on your phone. I didn't need to do that because Link to Windows was already installed on my phone.

I should have indicated that in my steps. To do that I checked the box "I have the Link to Windows app ready". I then clicked Pair with QR code.

I then switched to Link to Windows on my phone which then was used to scan the QR code shown in Phone Link on my PC.
