I went to Freebytes Webpages to download the program and I got a bad vibe. I have downloaded their files before and never had a problem. When you are dealing with Par2 files he helps when you are manually putting files together. Is there a better program out there that will join files and splt files better?

You can also split files using 7Z.
HJSplit by Freebyte is not just trustworthy, it is what people were using back in the old day when PKZip by Phil Katz didn't yet have (prior to version 4.0) the ability to split archives to span them across multiple floppy disks. That was way more than 30 years ago. And we're still counting.
I just download Quick Par. So what is the best File joiner and file splitter program. Is GSpli what I want to use? Do they also have a Joiner program too?
Well the link sent me to HJSplit.org and everything I click goes to another page so evidently their webpage is just an informational page I don't think there is a download link there now.
That is not surprising as the progam hasn't been updated since 2010.

@ Callender iI will leave you a thanks. I had a HJSplit Zip File but when I first tried to open it ( to unzip the files) it didn't work. The New way Windows 11 handles their right click options is so convoluted now. I noticed (show more options) once I did that then I could open the 7Zip menu file and off I went. So HJSplit is now on my computer. Sometimes newbie posters will only have the individual files on a multipart file so HJ Join can get it done. I have a manual program where I have to do everything than I have a more robust program that I paid for but it is more involved in retrieving files but it is automated. Thanks anyway.
