    Screen keeps scrolling with one click

    My screen quickly scrolls vertically too far, maybe even without stopping,
    even though I click the mouse just once in the vertical scroll bar.

    This happens with any windows program that has a vertical scroll bar.

    I changed mice, but it got no better.

    Is there a setting to correct this?

    The mice were bought off of ebay. Maybe they're no good? Can that be it? But 95% of the time everything is fine.
    Win 10 Home fully updated. Acer laptop.

    TIA

    @Rickster

    You may have clicked the mouse wheel. That turns on super scroll. (Or whatever Microsoft calls it).
    Click the mouse wheel again to turn off.

    When super scroll is on, the cursor looks like this...

    OR... if you clicked the mouse in the scroll bar area, but not "on" the scroll bar itself, the page will scroll to the bottom or top depending on whether you clicked above or below the actual scroll bar.

    Thanks. I'll pay attention. Maybe that's it.
