New upgrade of Windows 10 and VB6

    19045.2486
I did an in-place upgrade of W10 to solve a Windows Explorer Preview issue. Now when I attempt to run VB6 I get a popup that says "Preparing to install", I cancel it and it pops up another 5 or 6 time, any clues to what's going on, or better yet how to fix it?

    I read:

Do a custom installation with the Data Access check box cleared. When this installation completed, I used the installation CD to add the Data Access components to the installed application.

You may try this, and then do a repair after if you need the Data Access?

I tried it again and just let it run, It tried to install Microsoft Office Single Image 2010, the VB started several times without the popup. I hope that's the worst thing that happens after the upgrade.

    twinBASIC programming is VB6 compatible

You can use the new twinBASIC programming language instead of VB6.
twinBASIC is VB6 compatible and can import VB6 source code and forms.
