    What software to use for burning Blu-Ray Discs ???

    Hello all I bought a Asus Blu-Ray Writer 3.1 Gen 1 SBW-06D5H-U recently. I bought it to save space in my pc by burning my important data (about 40-48 gb per disc)

    Can you guys kindly recommend me a free software which is good to burn Blu-Ray's without an issue. I bought a yearly subscription for NERO and it expired was heavily bloated with add on software's and I hardly used any of them.

    Only people who can help should reply please. Looking forward to your recommendations. Thanks.

    Note that there are very basic burning capabilities built right into Windows, but if you are looking for a little more functionality, here are free programs off the top of my head:

    AnyBurn
    CDBurnerXP
    Express Burn
    CyberLink Power2Go (I believe that they have a free edition)

    I'm sure you can find a lot more it you put "free CD buring software" in your favorite search engine. Many CD burning programs will also support DVD and Blu-Ray.

    My personal preference is Nero. I know that one of your oppositions to Nero was all the additional bloat, and I fully agree. However, you can purchase just the base Nero package without all the additional bits, or, if you have the whole suite, the installer does give you the option to select what bits you want to install.

    Apparently anyburn can do it.

    AnyBurn is a light weight but professional CD / DVD / Blu-ray burning software that everyone must have. It provides complete solution for burning and disc imaging.

    @kufr

    AnyBurn can do... anything. And, it does it well.
    I even had AnyBurn make scrambled eggs for me, the other day.
