Macrium - Cloning between external disks

    Easy question I guess.

    Anyway..
Two docking stations. Both with two external disks, both connected to PC with USB where I have Macrium installed.
And Macrium is able to read them.
Will Macrium be able to clone one of those disks directly to the other?

Have a old, very old PC, slow as molasses in moonshine, 32-bit, hardly no RAM at all. Terrible HDD 5400rpm.
Was thinking about put a old, cheap, used SSD in it just for...fun.

Before I start with the rust remover and chisel to free the old disc it would have been good to know if it had worked..

Sure - certainly possible. I had an old W7 netbook with 2 GB RAM and HDD (days before SSDs), and I upgraded it to 4 GB (maximum for 32bit) and the performance increased dramatically - easily 2x times faster.

The increase would not be so dramatic with an SSD as they will page more effectively, but RAM is still faster than SSD paging, so if you can upgrade to 4 GB RAM cheaply enough, also worth considering that as well.

Also I hate to say the dreaded L word but a light Linux installation could buy some life - I used my old netbook as a PLEX server until it went to the great bit bucket in the sky.
