Is there a light sketch app for Windows?

Sometimes I need to make quick sketches for my design or illustration ideas. I can use my tablet and the Sketchbook app for that, but then I have to save and somehow send the drawing to the PC. Or I can use good old actual pencil and paper, but then I have to scan, then send, etc.

I'm thinking of an app as light as Notepad, which I use to make quick text notes. Do you know of any sketching app light like that for Windows? TIA.

The Windows program named "Paint" is included with Windows 10 22h2. It's relatively easy to use with just a mouse. By default it draws black lines on a white background.

I agree with selden, MSPaint fits the bill & it is built-in to Windows.
It is particularly easy to sketch with on a touchscreen.

Your Sketchbook app is available for Windows so you could decide to keep using the thing that you are used to.

    All the best,
