How to install / use an old program?

1) Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86)

This is the same file I downloaded / installed before with the wrong number. That is the right one?

Zuerst 1) Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86) installieren.
Rechner neustarten.
Danach 2) Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86) installieren.
Rechner neustarten.

Die Downloads heissen beide "vcredist_x86.exe".

OK, vielen Dank, mache ich so. Die exe mit der falschen Nummer (nach Installation) hat die identische Prüfsumme mit der: 1) Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86). Es ist also die identische Datei. Das ist richtig?

Yes, I just did, thank you very much. So those two files (vcredist_x86.exes) are identical by checksum, have the wrong number. So it is the right one, the one with the wrong number.
