Yes. This is MS's online scanner offering. It uses Defender definitions and took almost three hours to do a full scan on my system. Compare that to about 45 minutes for Defender (caching?).
It might run faster a second time, but I don't need it, I just came across it and decided to test it.
The MRT only takes a few minutes to scan critical areas, otherwise the WU process would take forever (MRT runs at install time).
COD MW3, Ghost and AW work just fine-even better than on 7.
