What's the best way to change the names of programs?

What's the best way to change the names of programs installed in programs and featues? Ccleaner does it, but i really don't want to use that program anymore.

Solved by navigating the registry, to change the names of the programs. ✔

You can change the shortcut that launches the program.

However, if you do that, you will need to tidy up the shortcuts should you update that program.

I don't understand your reference to
    programs and featues
    in this question.

Programs and features is where you can see a list of programs that you have installed on your computer.

Thank you very much for your kind reply.

I assume you're referring to the old Control Panel.

    You can't.

Yes. You can actually change the names with ccleaner, but i don't really like using the program anymore, that's why im looking for another solution.
