    change default app when phone is plugged in


    Hi I am running Windows 10 version 21H2 (OS Build 19044.2130) on an HP laptop

    The other day I had a need to plug my phone into my laptop. By mistake I selected the wrong app for it to open when the phone is plugged in. I know I can reset this in settings someplace but have not been able to figure out where.

    I know this is going to be a quick fix that I should know how to do but at 72 my mind just does not work as well as it did once.

    Any and all help is appreciated.

    Hi, I think you will need to change your Autoplay setting:
    change default app when phone is plugged in-1.jpg

    In that you can see my phone- T3 Pro.

    Using the dropdown you can change the action related to plugging that in.
