How to keep paint on the pop up window.

I call it a pop up window as it pops up when I click in the search bar (Called?).

I want to use paint a lot and want it in there pinned. I tried pinning it but it is gone. I did get an update last night so MS must have removed it.

    Hello @otuatail,

Have you tried right-clicking %SystemRoot%\System32\mspaint.exe and selecting Pin to Taskbar ?

    I hope this helps.

Search is dynamic, always changing its contents based upon the use of it. Why not pin the Paint icon to the Taskbar? Open Paint, right-click that icon and choose Pin to Taskbar.

    Hello @otuatail,

If you wanted it to always open on Sign-In / Startup, put the Program in the Startup folder . . .

    > %AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\

    I hope this helps.

I got it back by using it. I did right click on it and pinned to task bar. There it remained untill I got an update last night. This morning it was gone.

All the above options will work. Seems that an MS update removes it.
