    When I open gpedit this pops up

    Hello @man00,

    I have just had a look at mine.

    It is a Microsoft Corporation PolicyDefinitions XMLSchema file and appears to deal with things like Active Hours, Windows Update, Auto Update, Remove Update etc, etc,

    Have you done anything that can be related to the above etc ?

    Have you got a System Restore Point that you could try PRIOR to this happening ?
