    Need a Media Player for My Samsung A12


    I do not like to be subjected to abuse by youtube Music. They bug the piss about me to upgrade. I just want a simple media player app for MY Music files. It looks like all the media players are associated with paid or subscription based Music programs. I have about 64 GB of music files (my personal collection). I don't mind paying for the app but I don't want to be bugged about upgrading the service. So if there is a Version of Winamp, VLC player, of MPC-player for Android I just want to buy it and be done with it. I can't believe that Android doesn't offer a free standing media player app free or paid for one.

    Many Android phones over here include a music player provided by the phone maker that plays local files but, since you don't have one, try VLC.
    VLC will do what you want. It does what I want i.e. it plays local files & is free.
