No stories saved

I have just started trying to save a few of the news stories from those displayed automatically when Edge is launched (a fairly recent feature which I believe some users disable, but not me). However, even though I get the feedback saying the item is saved, when I go to 'my saved stories' it is not there, in fact none are there, just a blank page with a notification 'No Stories Saved'. What am I not doing right?

Hello @clayto,

Just a thought.

Have you searched your computer in case they are saved somewhere else ?
Have you changed your Default location for saved files ?

Thanks for suggestion, however I have searched repeatedly using super searchers including Everything, PowerToys etc and different search terms without finding any sign of the supposedly saved 'news stories'. Could it be a corruption of Edge which might be corrected by re-installing it? Now that I have become interested in Edge's news feature it is annoying that I cannot save anything, especially as I get confirmations that that the stories are saved.
