So before I do the tests for this new version of Easeus Partition Master, has anyone completed all the tests outlined in the Google doc to report the results? All your partitions safe and disturbed except for size? I 'm paranoid about partition corruption.

A few months ago, a Macrium Reflect partition restore corrupted my D: drive, with ALL my data files, instead of using the free space on the same physical drive. It has cost me many hours, some money, and probably the need to write some custom programs, to truly restore all the contents of my D: drive. Yes, I do backups daily, but many files that I "recovered" are corrupted and unreadable.

First of all, I need to inform you that I am not part of EaseUS or have any relationship with EaseUS.

I'm just a windows user who chooses to switch to using products from EaseUS without any purpose other than my convenience in using the computer

has anyone completed all the tests outlined in the Google doc to report the results?

    >> Yes, me.... except clone the OS transfer between HDD. because i dont have other computer/hdd to do that

All your partitions safe and disturbed except for size?

    >> yeah, i test it on my production laptop that you can see the specs at My Computer info

I 'm paranoid about partition corruption

    >> me too, but that why we need backup, right ? i do full backup before i run the procedure...
Besides that, I also tested how effective the backup application I used was. if it's corrupt, do I have enough backup or not.

A few months ago, a Macrium Reflect partition restore corrupted my D: drive
    >>Luckily for me, I didn't experience that. An application does have a different character and requires different handling. also i always take more extra time to verify the backup and also i dont use any compression methode. different chef, different taste

Yes, I do backups daily, but many files that I "recovered" are corrupted and unreadable.
    >> what i do?
    i backup C (system)
and i create other task to backup Data
and i run Google Drive to sync my data, onedrive for document related my works.

already tested using macrium and easeUS

I completed the tests yesterday on an old PC - all partitioning ran faultlessly, the migrate OS to a new drive worked, and the drive was bootable (but it was an old HDD, so was absurdly slow to load W10). When it came time to restore my image of the original (dual boot W10 & XP) partitions, I found the image was corrupt (all 3 copies), so cleaned up the newly mangled partitions and imaged them (and definitely verified).

The program was simple in use, and held one's hand well (after the OS migration there was guidance on BIOS settings etc). No actions were performed until one clicked a final 'OK'.

But there was confusion over the need (or not) for the licence key, and the actual version of the s/w I was testing. I'm still not sure I tested the right thing! About to report my experience to them...

    I'd recommend trying it. Martin

I don't understand why you pointed to that specific post in that other thread.

    Hi Martin,
I'm sure you are testing the right version as long as you got the installer from our online form. So sorry for this. We will try to release a beta version next time for such a testing before the official release. That will make things easier.

And I've got your feedback. That's very useful. Appreciate your time for this.

BTW, please PM me the software that you need for personal use as a return give for this testing.

    Good day!

Yes. that's a post I did. It's to collect product feedback from tech pros like you guys under this tread.
We do appreciate your opinion and experience. They helped a lot. And I think we'd communicate with you more by such activities.

Also, you can open a thread and pitch me if you find there is something that needs improvement regarding our software or the products of our kind. I will report to our product team and offer help.
