i believe i can find the file, the reason i said that because as a n00b user, i only click on shortcut icon that have name partition master but load the master suite GUI ^_^
The shortcut for Partition Master 16.8

I right-clicked on the shortcut for Partition Master and selected Properties. I noted the program run is Main.exe. This launches the Partition Master Master Suite.

Note that in the new Partition Master 17.0 release, EPMUI.exe launches the Partition Master Master Suite.

I used Windows Explorer to navigate to the directory containing Main.exe. I found several executable programs there. I found the one called epm0.exe directly launched the Partition Master program.

To test this I just made a copy of the Partition Master shortcut and named the copy Partition Master X.

I right-clicked on the shortcut for Partition Master X and selected Properties. I edited the Target and changed Main.exe to epm0.exe.

    Martin,

Yes., it's the second time I have had that. I did not notice I was getting to the limit again. I'll clear it out and PM you.
    [I sorted out my disk]

    All the best,

You are right. This is to promote other products. But we have a lot of to improve. Users may just get interested in what other programs are. So, they clicked it. But that click triggered the download and can't be stopped, which is extremely unfriendly. We've reported this to the product team. Hope you can tell us more about your thoughts on this. I know it's of course negative.

Since you're helping: is there any way to view private messages in a tree - I find the display awkward, with multiple messages on the same topic, but no way to tell which is which without opening (and losing the list display, and one's position in it).
