The start point should be defined not simply by clicking but with draggable markers allowing the user time to select the start position and width as when defining a region.

Unlike a small region, defining the end point should not require dragging e.g. a rectangle but allow the user to move down through the page and then select the end point.

(Please don't use limited PM space to ask about his - thanks!)

Yes. When you select scroll capture you have the ability to select start and the end of what the capture takes (length), so you don't have to have the whole page capture to save.
OK. Marked this! Thanks for the suggestion!

One more question-how often do you use screencapture tool? and mainly for entertainment or work?

In China, we have a very powerful SNS tool called QQ. It's a very strong screen capture tool too. As long as login, users can make screenshot as they want. And this app is quite common within the whole country. So, there are acutally not too many needs for an individual tool for this function.

And we are quite confusing about the usage of screenshot tools internationally and afraid there will be some lag.

It will be great if you can help with this question [email]too-@Fabler2

BTW, You can still use the latest version of QQ for screen capture. It's very powerful and better than most tools in function

Here is a capture for the its present functions:

I also use screen capture for this forum and others.
On rare occasions, being a member of 'Employees past and present', from my old workplace - on Facebook, scanning old photos then screen shooting them to upload to the community. Nostalgia at its best.

Only basic functions for this version. More advanced features will be presented in the second and future versions. All the suggestions received here were reported and some of them will be considered.

I know this version will disappoint you but still hope you can give us some time.

    John,

If you ever decide to publish a portable version as well then please do test it running in the WinPE established by booting from a Windows 10 installation USB.
    - I have only ever found one that can run in WinPE & it is very awkward to use so yours might be very welcome.

    It would need to:-
1 be copied onto the installation USB by the user, and
2 be run by entering a command in WinPE's Command prompt.

    All the best,
    Denis
