I've yet to find a case where it does.

I've taken the image of my old 'main machine' below (an old Toshiba laptop with Legacy bios, an MBR install and Intel processor/graphics) and restored it to my replacement 'main machine' (a new Acer, UEFI, AMD processor/Radeon graphics). Windows just spends a few minutes sorting out new drivers, then reboots to a fully working system.

The optane thing ( if you have it ) can be a bit tricky, depending on the machine.

I have a Windows application which I installed on one WIndows 10 machine.
I want to transfer that application to another Windows 10 machine I have.

I don't have the installer. The installer is not available (anywhere). Its legitimate software I have a license for.

I guess the transfer will need to include the Applications settings, registry entries as well as the obvious .exe etc.
    What program?
