    How do I register the .acm files in Windows 10?

    When I register the .acm file, this error message pops up.

    For an example, I type "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\regsvr32.exe FILENAME.ACM". I type it in, and the error message pops up like that.

    So, how do I register the .acm file in Windows 10?

    Hi,

    ACM files are containers for audio data, regsvr32.exe is used to register DLL...

    What are you exactly trying to do ?

    Hm. This is a bit odd. The same thing happened on a .dll file.

    @DeriLoko3 -

    I would like to help you re-register all of your DLL files on your system (C:) drive.

    Open a Command Prompt with Administrator rights and type:

    for %1 in (*.dll) do regsvr32 /s %1

    Please reboot and test again.

    Please advise. Thanks.

    Okay. So as it turns out, an ACM file (IMC32.ACM) and a DLL file (cedocida.dll) have already been registered. How odd was that? Maybe, it happened by a hidden registry backup tool? I am not quite sure. But, what I did see is that those files work in some programs like the recording programs. For one example, HyperCam.
