    How to contact the publisher of an app in the Microsoft Store?

    I want to get in touch with "PC Assist Software," which publishes three apps available in the Microsoft Store, but the Store app does not list any type of contact information.

    I want to know if their "Backup Wizard" app contains the option to shutdown / restart / sleep / hibernate the computer when the backup is done, a feature for which some providers of backup applications charge, perhaps dearly.

    Win10 Pro, Version 21H2 (Build 19044.1706)

    There is a contact link in the additional info section of the software listing.

    @latimer -

    Try to stay away from all UWP apps if you can. The implementation is not great.
    Just my opinion.

    Some you can easily obtain via the web.

    FWIW.

    That may not mean much if the features I mentioned in the OP aren't available except at a price. dL

    If there is no other choice, yes.

    For reference I am the owner of PC Assist Software and the publisher of the product mentioned above. Full contact details are on the Microsoft Store and a quick google would have obtained by website as well which is PC Assist Software - About.

    @latimer - To directly answer your question, no Backup Wizard doesn't have that functionality, but my newer tool Backup Assist does have option to shutdown when backup complete and it is available for a very small cost from the Microsoft Store.

    @Compumind - Just because an app is in the Microsoft Store does not mean it is a) UWP or b) poorly implemented. I spend a lot of time working on, improving and fixing any issues in my apps, and you have been able to list Win32 and other types of app on the Microsoft Store for a long time now, so not just UWP apps!

    To be fair to @Compumind, that comment was made a long time ago too. The Store had been officially opened to Win32 apps just a week before post #3.
