    Remove red dot from editing


    Recently I'm seeing a red dot
    Remove red dot from editing-dot-copy.jpg
    whenever I click on the editing process of several programs. It's annoying and sometimes produces unexpected results. It may be due to my inadvertent change in preferences or due to a windows or MSFT change.

    How do I revert back to when the red dot doesn't appear?

    What are the names of the programs when this appears?
    Did you change your Mouse and Pointer settings?

    YES!

    It was the mouse settings. I didn't change them but somehow it got changed. resetting to default took the red dot away.
