    photo viewer

I had posted questions here about windows photo viewer saying loading on every picture. So i tried using a different photo viewer which worked great no loading photos opened right up. yesterday on just a chance i went back to photo viewer and wow no loading on every photo just came up. today i tried getting another profile in color management and when i click on default and went to photos again got the loading so now i removed that profile and used the default i had and no loading , my question is why would changing profiles in color management have any bearing on photo viewer saying loading or not? Now with the profile i have it works ok but the desktop backround looks very light new monitor and very little explaination on how to set it up in directions'. I can not figure out what color management has on photo viewer any suggestions

Some time ago I got some images from somebody, possibly made with an iPhone. I could not open them with Windows Photo Viewer. I opened them with photoshop and immediately saved them. These saved images could be opened with Windows Photo Viewer without problems
