i want a program to start minimized.
i tried 2 methods of which both r not working.
option 1:
created a bat-file:
start /min "" "C:\Program Files (x86)\LG Electronics\OnScreen Control\bin\OnScreen Control.exe"
option 2:
create a shortcut of the program and under properties chose run minimized.
any solution?

It's possible that one of the first actions of the application concerned is to set its windows position rather than allow Windows to control it i.e. it does not confirm to normal rules.
You'd need to ask the application's publisher if what you want can be done. Perhaps, as was the case for the OP in the thread WXC referenced, the application has a command line switch that achieves the behaviour you want.

Many OSDs have internal control for this and will ignore external requests.
