How to run a program at startup minimized to system tray

Hi all, I'm having a problem with Icue software (Corsair Mouse Software). If I run it with administrator rights it works fine but it will not start on startup I have to start it manually.
What do I have to do to run the Icue exec at startup and have it minimize to system tray...Thanks...

Windows does not like running applications with elevated privileges at startup because it has been a common method for malware to take control.

What you can do instead is add a Task scheduler task to run it as Admin at Logon [of any user] with highest privileges. This will not be any different as far as you are concerned but it makes a big difference to Windows.

There is guidance about setting up an elevated task in Task scheduler, including bypassing the Admin prompt, in

Turn on Enable all tasks history [in the right-hand pane of Task scheduler] to help you during debugging this task.
Consider starting out by setting up the task to open an elevated command prompt, again this is for ease of debugging, and only change it to refer to your desired application when you have got that working correctly.

You can only minimize to the system tray if the application itself has that capability and tells you which switches to use in its command line to start it that way.
There are no Windows commands to minimize applications to the system tray.

    Best of luck,
    Denis
