    Best Cloud Storage Program

    Hi all.

I'm after reliable, super-fast upload speed, and decent storage local-program cloud storage. I've tried the below:
    • Google Drive
    • Onedrive
    • Dropbox
    • Mega.nz

They all include clunky programs that are slow even on a high end machine..

    I'm on Windows 10 21H2

    Hello James,

How much data are we talking about?

I prefer local storage, so don't have experience other than limited use of Google Drive.

I don't care what anyone says - IMHO, the cloud is not secure - better enhancing your local storage for personal documents.
Now, if you are talking about File Sharing, that's another subject.

I use OneDrive for limited items that are not sensitive.

    Thanks for the response.

I simply need a space to store my random documents. What would you recommend?

    -File sharing not required.

    @James -

Use an USB 3.x connected HDD or SSD - or a thumb drive.
How much space do you need?

I just use my browser to upload files to my GDrive account. Rarely have the need to do this.

    Thank you

    I'll use my USB, it's 2.0, and I do have a 32GB 3.0 one, but the 2.0 one has 2tb storage..

Icedrive, you can use it as a standalone app or integrate it within explorer as an additional disk.
Several times a year they offer lifetime licenses, they are definitely worth it. I got 1TB for $80.
Speed is OK, I stored my movies there and once the download starts I can watch it ASAP.

You've saved me a lot of time. Thank you for the recommendation I love how when you Mount it acts as a disk in itself. Would you by any chance know if there is a way to get an instant sharing link from the right-click menu?

    Thanks again.
