Possible to Repair Windows Mixed Reality Components?

How I trim the stuff I consider useless for me from my computer using NTLite, sometimes comes with weird consequences, one of which apparently prevents windows mixed reality from running on my computer (in a sense that it says my computer is running a lower version of windows even if im running the latest version at the time). I don't consider this much of an immediate problem, but I want to know if there's a set of cmd/powershell commands I can use to repair any missing WMR system files/components that it needs to run (I did use both sfc and dism, and they don't find anything wrong to repair). I do vaguely remember some powershell command that would reload all the installed windows apps (maps, groove music, your phone, etc...), figured there'd be something like that for WMR repair

I can fix it by doing a repair/refresh install, but i'd rather not unless that is truly the ONLY option

    Win 10 Pro 64-bit v1909 - Build 18363 Custom ISO Install
       #2

    Hello @BrokenDaily,

I have always created customised ISO installs since XP. I have used and tested MANY different Softwares that were available at the different times I wanted to customise.

When I initially did this for Win 10, I too had the same problem as yourself, but, as I was NOT interested in Mixed Reality, I did NOT pursue it.

I might still have my notes somewhere, so when I get a bit of time, I will have a look through them for you.

In the meantime, have a look at this, it has MANY PS Commands that you mentioned . . .

Also, have a look at the Related Tutorials at the BOTTOM of the above Tutorial [ there are a few ], as they may also help.

    I hope this helps.
