    Software Recommendation?

    Hi all,

I need a simple, free screenshot app that automatically captures my cursor, saves to a specified folder and copies to clip board. Then, I can apply effects arrows and drawings on the screenshot.

If anyone has recommendations they'd be appreciated!!

+ Bonus Question: Can I paste images into the forum, I don't seem to be able to?

    James,

Apart from the reference to your cursor, you are describing Windows' own Screenshots function.
    Take a screenshot - TenForumsTutorials - Just use WinKey+PrntScrn [Option 1, Step 2]
Change or Restore Default Location of Screenshots Folder - TenForumsTutorials

Snip & Sketch, a standard App of Windows 10. Save as a PNG file and upload from your PC
That was used for this image below.

There are other Applications/Apps of course.

Thank you Denis + Helmut. Helps. I've got a small issue.
(for one I need cursor) but for 2 I am running 2 monitors and through a full screen screenshot it shows both screens (of different resolution). So I must crop this and really I want a " grab + go " software a bit like snipping tool / snip n' sketch, but with more detail. I want to draw red circles, or arrows and squares in my screenshots.

    Thanks again,

Did a bit of looking. My best option was the free program Irfanview

I downloaded it and I can tell you it is great! These are the settings:

As you can see you may change many things. (including cursor )

    Here is a screenshot test:

I love how I know where it is instantly without the extra steps.

    Would recommend.

In fact this could be better than Irfanview! Thanks
