Can I download Disk Genius to a blank partition so it doesn't harm

Hi! Can I download Disk Genius to a partition on my pc, that has nothing in it, so that it doesn't harm the computer I want to download it on? If so, how do I do that? I am wanting to use it on a nonworking computer, not this one. So is that possible? Can I download it to a blank partition that I could create? And then, transfer it to a flash drive or CD or DVD (blank) in order to use it on the nonworking Dell Latitude e5400 laptop computer that isn't working? And get it to run on that one to try to fix it's problems?

If it's possible to download it to a partition that I create, how do I create and set up that partition for that purpose? First I shrink it, I believe. Is that all I have to do, or is there something else I need to do after that to set up a partition for that purpose?

Let me know your opinions. Thanks!

You shouldn't have to do anything special - the act of downloading should not change anything. Just download it as normal and install on the working PC, then create a bootable USB drive as shown here:
Create Bootable USB Disk - DiskGenius
I see no mention of creating bootable CD/DVD.
