What popular apps have you dumped lately?

This is like the opposite of those other threads you've seen..."What are your favorite apps?"

Over the years certain apps have worked great, or at least better than competitors, and I've enjoyed using them.
These days old popular apps seem to be approaching their 'end of life' mode, not in popularity or use, but in that the original creators want to retire comfortably and $$$ell. That's what every entrepreneur wants to do later in their life. (Just not the way McAffee did.)

I've finally retired Firefox. After updating for a year or so on a weekly schedule I had enough. Didn't enjoy the fact that I had to re-tweak everything in it to be the way I had it each previous week.

Got rid of CCleaner. I have the Brave browser with CyberGhost Cookie Cleaner.
Brave clears cookies, cache etc. with one click and keeps my log-in passwords.
CGCC keeps those cookies from being deleted just like CCleaner did only less convoluted.

Malwarebytes has been gone for over 3 years. I haven't even had a PUP since then.
If I ever do get some funky behavior I can always download it and see what's up. I've done that quite a few times these past years and nothing. So out it goes.

I'm almost wanting to dump Flux. It's a good app but it seems I don't need it anymore. My eyes aren't bugging me like they were a while back.

    Here's mine:
    • 7Zip - replaced with PeaZip
    • PowerISO - replaced with built-in ISO mount
    • CCleaner - replaced with built-in Disk Cleanup
    • Wise Registry Cleaner - stopped using registry cleaners all together
    • Microsoft Office - replaced with Ashampoo Office 8 (cheaper for 5 lifetime licences)

    Some previews:

Dumped CCleaner ....... Just use Disk cleanup
Dumped FF .............Use Brave/UR Browser with ublock Origin
I have 4 PC's and am trying 360 TSE instead of Defender on one and like it so far......Time will tell.
All web searches are with DDG/Startpage
Using stock defender firewall now instead of Comodo......Which I have used for 20 years

In addition to the others that have already been mentioned:

I got rid of ASUS AI Suite. (It's bundled with every ASUS motherboard, so I guess that makes it "popular.") Just for fan control, it uses 6% of CPU time. I replaced it with Argus Monitor for fan control, which is more capable and more efficient.

The best fan control app I have ever seen or used is "Fan Control" which you can get from GitHub.

Amen to that! Too much of the interface is stuff you can't use unless you go Pro, and the cost of that is exhorbitant.

I just dumped Microsoft EDGE two days ago. I need to wait for the next updates to see if removing EDGE affected anything.

Not my topic, but here is where I posted the details...
