    Hi,
Thought i was going to dump shareX for obs studio because it has a pause hotkey option and shareX doesn't

But obs is one weird app lol

Full screen is easy enough and file sizes are smaller for equal quality x264/ mp4 but changing resolutions for different movies is not an easy task on obs, for example lots of free movies are wide screen not full screen so shareX is easy to change the recording area and obs not so much that I've found so far.

Linux though obs there is a linux version and beats the crap out of linux easy screen capture app so it's toast

Amen to that! Too much of the interface is stuff you can't use unless you go Pro, and the cost of that is exhorbitant.
I agree with that. Too commercial and overcrowded. I remember the first versions of AAR, I guess somewhere in 90s , was really pleasurable program.

    7-zip > Nanazip - Windows 11 context menu
    AMD RAMDisk >
ImDisk Toolkit - it is updated
    AxCrypt >
Nanazip - file encryption, removed from AxCrypt
Bitwarden > Edge - UAC protected password manager
CCleaner > WiseCleaner + CookieAutoDelete (cleans cache)
EaseUS Todo Backup > AOMEI Backupper - only one that works
FreeOffice and WPS Office > LibreOffice - it finally works
MPC-BE > Potplayer - better audio and all is preset
    Notepad > Notepad3 - it is 3 times better :)
    PatchMyPC
    > Softpedia's email list - PMP stopped working
PDF Xchange Viewer > Sumatra - ultimate PDF security
Streamlabs OBS > XSplit - basically all is preset
