make windows 10 save and name an envelope size?

it took a lot longer than I wish it had to make win10 print a small envelope

is there a way I can save and name that envelope so I can just choose it out of a list next time?
also had a problem making 10 recognize the 2nd printing tray

and, realize, I don't have several of the fonts I used for several print items

    help?
is there a safe source for free fonts?

I know MS wants us to share everything in the cloud, but, I still make make cards ;-)

CeriseR hello and welcome to tenforums ,

Did you create the envelope with a word processing app? Have you tried saving it as a document or template in the same app?

Knowing what app you used would be useful for us to help you here.

I opened the printer from Publisher (2007) and created a "custom" envelope size
but my experience, it does not become a parament item I can use again

you are right, the software being used... is essential for a response ;-)

thank you, found it had "held" the custom size, maybe "10" resolves some long time struggles

thank you for the article, it had some good information

it had not occurred to me that saving my projects in work and publisher would not save the settings I used for them
it took me a half hour to convince the new computer to "see" the second paper tray

Is the custom envelope size not saved as part of your project? I don't use Publisher, so maybe someone who does would have a suggestion for you.

it looks like it did "save"

I had trouble with it as I was printing the first so I expected it would not save the print layout and settings, always an argument with the older computer

this time it did save them and showed the correct layout and print set up when I opened it today
