Cannot open pics with Paint
I have some pics I would like to post in a thread but cannot open with Paint any more also the spellcheck has stopped working anyone got any ideas why??

Can you open the Paint app on the PC? Can you open any pics with Paint at all?
Paint has a spell checker or what?

No mate my machine has gone haywire I cannot open aaapaint and my backlit keyboard gas stopped working too

You might try uninstalling and reinstalling it: Install or Uninstall Microsoft Paint (mspaint) in Windows 10
I had to do this recently. You shouldn't lose anything in the process.

If you have a second account on your PC, see if Paint works there. Always good to have a backup second account in for testing or in case something happens to your main account.

Is the keyboard a laptop keyboard or what? Does it have a function key to adjust the backlight level?

Ooops , it was Microsoft Photos I had to reinstall, not Paint

Sorry for lat ereply mate as I had to do a system restore as themachine crashed on me I will try that link you mentioned

Oh dear. I suggest your run sfc and dism to make sure Windows files are okay Run SFC Command in Windows 10. Hope you have a Macrium Reflect backup too.

In a corporate environment. Sudden Keyboard / Word processor / Thesaurus / Auto corrector / printers Goofiness, are always regarded as suspicious and are seriously investigated as malware / Virus infection. And has been proven a very good practice.
While a number of causes could have the same symptoms you're experiencing... But the way you described your problem happening. I would start with that.
