Are you using Windows 10 Home version 1909 or Windows 10 Pro version 1909? You need to upgrade/update Windows 10

Ok. Other users do not have this in the company. Can you confirm if the tile is displaying the name because it has been uninstalled? Could be the case of simply reinstalling weather app.

Will cumulative windows updates reinstall weather app or will this have to be performed manually?

As you work for a company, could you not contact your IT department?

You've had appropriate advice above, but I can see no sign you've actually attempted to use it.

Further, there's always the possibility your company has applied policies that prevent you from performing the sort of maintenance activity required.

Different thing entirely.

Apps are routinely updated in the background. I suppose there's an outside chance that might result in yours being fixed- I've no experience of that happening.

Thanks Dalchina. Yes I have contacted them and waiting for a response. Yes the company prevents us performing such activities.

Ok the app is uninstalled as I have not found under search or apps so could explain why just the title is showing the name and doesn’t work.? This icon is pinned to the start menu and is defined by group policy.

I will ask them to try and reinstall via powershell as not available on Microsoft store.
