To clarify: when I try to use MPE later it is not working until I enter the PIN again, so rather annoying. Although, overnight to today it is ready to connect so hopefully the need to enter the PIN every time was only a passing requirement.

I am starting to read the posts on the MPE Forum. Is there a delay between clicking to register and registration being confirmed / activated? I have tried to proceed without being recognised so many times I am locked out for a while. Not a problem yet, but I want to avoid it next time I try. I cannot ask on the MPE Forum of course ---- I rarely find a find a Forum where the designers have forseen the need to provide an escape route from the Catch 22 dilemma.

    I don't know.
    - I don't have any old emails so there wasn't a validation process,
    - I don't remember any delay,
but it was almost a decade ago.

    If you go to

what do you see in & below the MPE forum header bar?

I've finished fiddling with my previous post. My initial set of diagrams was less than useful.

I do recall different MPE behaviour when my phone was Android 10 [I'm now on Android 11] but the change in behaviour was only upon moving to he new phone with its new OS.
The phone's MPE client gets updated by Android so perhaps that has changed behaviour for you.

Since I've never set a PIN, I do not know how to remove one.
