    Obsidian Onyx

    Version 20H2 (19042.1237)

I've used my laptop to run Obsidian Onyx for a year and a half. I recently started a update to it's newest version.
Each time I try to install it, all goes well until the install stops with this notice (see pic 1). I have no idea what this means. NI searched the code, and don't know what to do to fix this.

I'd appreciate being properly located where this query belongs and even more, a solution! Thanks very much.

    Hi and welcome to Tenforums.

Obsidian house automation right ?... Since you upgraded versions it may have upgraded your SQL too... Hope it didn't failed porting your password to the new version... The second thing to check would be the ODBC x86/x64 connectors setup.

Also Obsidian will give you great support if you contact them... They are solid and standing behind their product...

I found the spl server folder. I opened it, then 110, then LocalDB, then Binn.

I have a working V 4.6.1218 on another pc. I compared this Binn folder contents to the working version Binn folder contents. They are identical. I have contacted Obsidian support. Hope to hear from them soon. If anyone can advise further, I'd appreciate it. Thanks for the efforts on my behalf.
