I'm setting up a new tablet--well, it's second-hand from eBay, but it's new to me--and after updating to 21H1, I've discovered this Meet Now app. (Checked out some descriptions of it such as What Is “Meet Now” on Windows 10, and How Do You Use It? and Introducing new Skype Meet Now feature with no sign ups or downloads.) It actually sounds kinda nice/potentially useful, but I don't want that icon in my taskbar. So far I haven't found a way to pin it to Start instead. Isn't it weird that it's not possible, unlike with other apps? Anyone know how to do it?

So far I guess the only alternative is to have Skype pinned to start and then access that function by launching the Skype app first. Right?

But if I'm understanding correctly, the advantage of Meet Now is that a meeting can be accessed very quickly, without even signing into Skype. But if I launch the Skype app, I have to go through the sign-in process. So why can't I have the functionality of this Meet Now thing but without it being in my taskbar??
