I have a 200mb PDF that needs to be reduced in size. Already optimized the filesize but it's image intensive, so is there a method I can use to auto-remove ALL images from a PDF?
Using Acrobat DC here.

How much formatting is there?
You could try saving as TXT or DOCX and then create PDF and do any reformatting necessary.
I would like to retain the formatting/layout. Saving in docx doesn't remove the images though, only txt.
With Acrobat Pro you can reduce this file to 3-5MB with pictures included.
This pdf (big) contains 11, 3x3 feet full scale cleanly printable posters.
Small file displays cleanly the same thing on very large screens too.
This is done by DPI scaling: Print: up to 4800 -->screen: 72
Depending on DPI of your source images this PDF can be greatly reduced without any loss.
I changed to 72 dpi and It only reduced the filesize from 170mb to 93mb. How did you change your settings so it became only 5mb?
