How to check that MS Teams is set up correcthy?

I have had limited experience with MS TEAMS. I had to do one meeting with my cellphone and a couple with my laptop that has Ubuntu 21.04 for OS. All those were hosted by the same US-based company. Earlier this week, I was invited to a meeting with a small group who are based in EU country. I tried both my laptop as a Win10 desktop. Nothing worked in terms of being able to turn on camera or mike.

I just got a new NEXIGO N660 webcam with microphone for the desktop. OS is Win 10 Pro and MS TEAMS is installed version as opposed to web version. MS TEAMS finds the camera and microphone. Camera shows correct image. Problem is testing sound. Microphone works with Windows Voice recorder. Will it work with MS TEAMS? How do I make a test call? Some help sites suggest there is a test call embedded in MS TEAMS. If so, I cannot find it.

I am the sole member of my LLC. I have to do my own PC support. I have gotten two laptops and more than several PCs to work the way I want them to. MS TEAMS seems to be a greater than average challenge.

I have another MS TEAMS meeting next week with muEU colleagues. I want to make sure that everything on my side works. Windows 10 Pro version is 21H1, 19043.1237. Feature experience pack is120.2212.3030.0 .

    Thank you in advance.

Thank you very much for your help. I have it working on my Dell laptop (Linux (Ubuntu 21.04)) and my hp laptop (Win 10) using external camera, monitor, microphone, and speaker. One of the confusing things about Win version of TEAMS is its link to Office 365 and my Windows account. The account I use for Windows does not work with TEAMS in that it will not let me make a test call. It was (and still may be) the account I use for Office 365. It did not work for getting logged in on Linux version of TEAMS. I have to use one of my business email accounts as the email for both Linux and Win versions of TEAMS. If possible, please explain or provide a link to the documentation that explains what I am experiencing.

Thank you again for your help.
