Default Programs Editor? Shouldn't be necessary if you really have Winamp installed.
I surmised that was a post I (dalchina) wrote about Autoplay that suggested a "small, no-install 3rd party app" (Default Programs Editor) that amongst other things allows the addition of programs to the Autoplay list.I decided on a small, no-install 3rd party app (that dalchina suggested in an old post I found.
Ok, well, as I've shown you my Winamp installation shows up in Autoplay.
I asked if yours showed up in Open With, to see if you have it installed and registered as a potential default for video and audio files.
Another place you should see it, for example, is thus:
If it doesn't show up there, then maybe it needs reinstalling.
Good- so it seems that it's just the autoplay options you've lost.
This PC doesn't even have a DVD/CD drive and the option is there..
I have no explanation for you - this very very old link shows that people had this problem in the past.

If you can fix it using Default Programs Editor- so much the better. Otherwise you could consider reinstalling Winamp.
