VLC Media Player is not an option for Autoplay DVDs

I'm trying to work through 2 problems regarding playing DVD movies on my desktop PC. This is problem #1:

When I put a DVD video in the optical drive and the DVD is recognized in Explorer it does not automatically play in VLC.
Should be an easy settings fix - but it is not.

Note: I can open VLC > go to Media menu > and Open Disc > and the disk will play just fine.
    It just won't Autoplay.

    My settings:
    • Start > Settings > Devices > Autoplay (for all media and devices) > ON
    • Start > Settings > Default Apps > Video Player > set to: VLC Media Player (it is an option here)
    • Control Panel > Autoplay > DVDs > looking at any selection here > VLC is not an option to choose

I think I need to get VLC recognized in Control Panel > Autoplay > DVDs
    How can I do this?

I can make the change in Control Panel and its AutoPlay feature. I have CP pinned to the Taskbar but on other computers get to it by putting Control in the Search box.

So the question is: why can't I?
I'm wondering if an uninstall and reinstall of VLC would do it.

I have just tested this on mine for you and it works as @Berton has stated.
Yes, uninstalling and then re-installing VLC might work. Well, it will NOT hurt.

    I hope this helps.

Make sure you have "Play Disk" Selected when you install VLC

    Uninstalled and reinstalled VLC.
All is good. Everything is back to normal.

    That was weird.
