Programs work only once

Aside from the few that crash from startup, some programs are prone to work only once. For example, with I will install discord and it runs fine. If I restart or close the program (completely, not to try) it will not work a second time due to

Ignore that this is a custom version of discord. This happens with many programs. If I reinstall the program, works fine, but just once.

enable/disable DEP
sfc /scannow
memory diagnostics

thinking:
prefetch comes to mind

I'm not seeing how to change or update the system specs, but its all the same except now have 4x 4Gb Vengeance (all identical) and also have gfx card

If the regular discord client does not do that, then its time to bug report it to the makers of Lightcord.

It is not a problem with the app. It happens with many programs. The system tray game launcher for war thunder than keeps my game updated. audacity. the browser engine for photoshop etc etc. I'm sorry but you simply do not know what you are talking about.
