cannot install microsoft store on Win10

    Hi all,

i performed a clean install of Win10 and now i dont have Microsoft Store installed on my PC.

yes, i've tried many of the suggestions on this site, to no avail.

as an example i've tried various methods, including Powershell (Admin) Get-AppXPackage *WindowsStore* -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"} but that didnt work either. The cursor just kept blinking. no error, just nothing happened.

then opened Powershell (Admin) again and ran Set-ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted, then reinstall-preinstalledApps script which came up with an error, seen below.

    any help would be appreciated.

    thanks all.

    @Funjunkie6

There's quite a few ways of getting the Microsoft Store back.
The method that worked for me was: Solution 9 at the link in this post...

I completely uninstalled microsoft Store, now I want it back.

The link has all the methods, so if one doesn't work...try another one.

Hi, if this really was a clean install and you didn't then do something to break it (or did you? - please advise if you did something AFTER clean installing Win 10 that caused the problem) this sounds unlikely.

I don't know if you're familiar with a clean install, unfortunately. Please confirm that when you did that you..
    - deleted all existing partitions comprising the Windows O/S
    - installed to unallocated space

When you started the clean install you would have booted your PC from a bootable Win 10 installation flash drive or similar.
You would not have booted your PC, logged in, and then started some procedure.

Finally, please confirm you created your bootable installation medium using the MS media creation tool.

    Thanks.

Suggests something very odd about your clean install.
