What is this kind of software called?

I have a Windows 10 all in one PC with touchscreen. I would like to use this machine as a central point to leave memos or video memos, view calendars, control home automation, check weather, create shopping lists, play media, check email and basic web surfing, etc.

I don't know what this type of software is called, or if any actually exists for a Windows 10 PC.

Anyone know what I should be searching in Google? Any suggestions for this type of software?

You could try "home automation hub software", "convenience hub app", "central hub software", unfortunately most of what you want is provided by separate apps hosted by an operating system (the hub). You could try looking on YouTube for home automation videos, I know Linus Sebastian from Linus Tech Tips has done a few series of videos on this subject and is currently starting another one from scratch as he is moving house.

    HI,
Think you're referring to using one machine as a server and having all other devices sync to it.

    Hello @Calab,

Most of the tasks that you want to achieve can be done using Google to a certain extent. From your question, there is Software available like [ as an example ] . . .

    > Connect your Apps and Automate Workflows

You could also use something like Workflow Automation Software, like [ as an example ] . . .

    > #1 Software for Google Workflow Automation

As mentioned above, you could always use a designated PC as a Server.

    I hope this helps.
