For Any Users Of VNC Viewer

    Hi,

Using VNC Viewer, the free version, to mirror what is on my Windows 10 pc over to my MAC screen.

    Really works well.

Was wondering if there is any way to morrow just a selected portion of what is on the pc to the MAC screen ?

Or, is it all or nothing ?

Any other similar programs to consider that are perhaps also free or very inexpensive ?

    Thanks,
    Bob

I don't understand what you want to do.

VNC is not a viewer. You are actually logging into the other computer using the username and password of an account on that computer. You have all the privileges of that user.

    Hi,

    Thanks for help.

Was just wondering if I could select a portion of what is showing on the first computer
and see that (only) on the second ?

Rather than the complete screen of the original.

    Thanks again,
    Bob

I remotely log into my Raspberry Pi 3B+

What I am seeing is a virtual view to simulate a physical display. That is what it is meant to do. Since I am logging in as a real user I can do anything that user can do even run programs and access files.

Do you mean a portion of the display or just be able to access a portion of the data on the computer?

Can you be more specific on what limitations you require?
