    Lets start again.

You are having difficulty with win10xpe because the iso you downloaded has different build numbers for winre.wim and install.wim

If you want to use win10xpe, it will be easier for you to download the windows 11 iso build 2428 because both install.wim and winre.wim are 2428
I buil;t one based on Win11 ISO a few days ago. The build was clean but it wouldn't complete booting, went into some kind of flickering with a message about pressing Esc (maybe Max res) so I'm building it again after unchecking the Max res checkbox. Will see how that works.

    Thank you.

The message pops up stating that they do no match - it has no regards to the actual build - but you must continue..

Several times it has been also mentioned that the project is not being used - yet advise is offered to its contrary...

TheOven is dead, almost all of the other projects are lacking forum support...

So this "Win10XPE" topic appears to be the only supported "PE" topic..
I hope this one stays relevant since WIN10XPE is a really great tool to have.

some kind of flickering with a message about pressing Esc
That is happening with the last 2 releases of Win11 - StartAllBack is creating that message...
It is happening in all the PE's and it is due to some changes in Explorer...

    .2428 is last good version

Note: that you can also start Task Manager and run "\Program Files\WinXShell\WinXShell.exe"
to get to functioning desktop when that happens...

StartAllBack issue has been found - can get into desktop - but lost Taskbar Pins.. - tested with 22631.3078 & SAB 3.7.3

And It Happens All The Time

Thanks Kyhi. Building with the Win 11 ISO downloaded via WinPE Builder then starting Task Manager and running "\Program Files\WinXShell\WinXShell.exe" allows me to build a new, working WIN11XPE!

I don't see ShowKeyPlus though. I thought that had been added to the tool set way back. I'll go back and search for the instructions on how to add it.

Again, many thanks. Thank you SIW2 also.

Know where I can find a .2428 Win 11 iso?

Downloading now, thank you. Says it's going to take 9 days to download
11 to 12 Kb/s. I get 580Mbps download speed. I'll let it run overnight and see what happens.

Edit: Downloaded new one, Will build and test in a few minutes.

    Download a .2428 Win 11 iso from fido: https://github.com/pbatard/Fido/rele.../Fido.ps1.lzma
    Extract fido.ps1 with 7zip
    Run fido.ps1 with powershell:
    powershell -executionpolicy remotesigned -File fido.ps1
