    Hello forum friends,

does anyone have the latest script for
    Easeus Partition Master 17.0 ?
Maybe even one where you can enter license numbers.

Are there also for other programs from Easeus scripts for eg.
Easeus Data Recovery or Easeus ToDoBackup ?

    @Megahertz
After using regshot and failed, I googled your problem and find a solution:
You need to copy and paste this code to reg section of a script. Just paste it to a reg section of any of the scripts.
    The code is:
    Code:
    RegHiveLoad,Tmp_Default,%RegDefault%
    RegDelete,HKLM,Tmp_Default\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Streams\Defaults
    RegHiveUnLoad,Tmp_Default

    RegHiveLoad,Tmp_Software,%RegSoftware%
    RegDelete,HKLM,"Tmp_Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\BagMRU"
    RegDelete,HKLM,"Tmp_Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\Bags"
    RegWrite,HKLM,0x4,Tmp_Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\Bags\AllFolders\Shell\{0b0ba2e3-405f-415e-a6ee-cad625207853},Mode,4

I tested the code in my host Windows and it is okay. But didn't test it in a live system yet. I hope it will work for you.

At the end of posting #2 it is written:

    Rufus updates to 3.20 (2022.08.03)
download file rufus-3.20p.exe and put in ...\Projects\Tools folder
***Updated apps in grey have been integrated into the latest distribution file or replaced in post #2

I downloaded and use the latest Win10XPE project but didn't found Rufus in "Apps" section tree in the left pane.
Am I blind? Where is it?
It is not mentioned in posting #2 too

Furthermore I can read in Utilities/NetFx3 Add-Feature page:

"In Windows 10 The NetFx3 Feature is disabled by default.
If you have a program that requires .NetFramework 2.0-35
The NetFx3 Feature must be permanently enabled at the source.
Once enabled the netFx3 feature will be copied into every build"

What does that mean exactly? I remember a time 2 years ago that it was NOT sufficient to mount the read-only Win10 ISO file when using this feature. Users have to extract the whole ISO so that PEBakery/WinBuilder can inject .NET 3.5 files into it.
Reading the text above it seems to me that PEBakery/WinBuilder need no extracted ISO source any more and inject the .NET files DIRECTLY into target tree. Is this correct?

    Last question:
When I start the Build process it happens sometimes that the build process is aborted because of a missing file or whatever for a (=1) certain plugin. I could solve this by updating the plugin to the newest version and then restart the build process from zero.

Is there an option which tells PEBakery to list an error for plugin A in log, then skip the creation of this plugin and continue with the next Plugin?

This way I could get all plugin errors in 1 Build Run.

    Is this possible?

Rufus is integrated into the base project you can access it via the 'Create ISO' interface in the 'Copy to USB' section

As far as I'm aware that is still the case

both builders allow you to uncheck the 'Stop Build on Error' checkbox, in WinBuilder it's under Tools/Options (icon top right of interface) in the errors box and in PEBakery it's under the Settings-General-Build headings. I must say I've never tried it, I simply run the individual script , it only takes a short time and it's often obvious it's errored but have a quick look at the log tab for errors just in case.

User can switch from tiny to medium size shortcut-icons on desktop by entering the following statements into XPEstartup.cmd

    REG ADD "HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\Bags\1\Desktop" /V IconSize /T REG_DWORD /D 48 /F
    REG ADD "HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\Bags\1\Desktop" /V Mode /T REG_DWORD /D 1 /F
    REG ADD "HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\Bags\1\Desktop" /V LogicalViewMode /T REG_DWORD /D 3 /F

This worked 2 years ago. And I want to apply this in my new Win10XPE installation again.

    So I went to

    Apps--->SystemTools--->XPEStartup

and clicked on the "Edit" button of the first textbox (for XPEStartup.cmd).

An editor windows with current D:\PEBak10\temp\XPEStartup.cmd opens

I entered the command from above directly after "Call: Startup" and saved the file.
I expected the just added lines to appear in corresponding textbox below.
But this is not the case.

How else do I have to add these Registry commands?

Unfortunately there seems to be no clickable checkbox option for that feature.
May I encourage authors to add it? It was already existing in the past

Furthermore I am trying to find a way to add a program (from a Plugin I created) to the startup folder (possible with additional start parameters). How does that work in PEBakery?

I have never used "Switch to Admin". I have never had a need for it. It is my understanding that Win10XPE normally runs under a system account and I find that account has all the authority that most apps and tools need. In the last several years, I think I have encountered less than 4 applications that required an Administrator account and I didn't need any of them. I use my build of Win10XPE to help diagnose and fix troubled PC's and to recover data. I never think of it as a portable Windows or a Windows to Go. In other words, it is a tool not a production system.
    Hi All,

About a week ago, I made the above statement. Now I may have to take it back. Under the system account with 22H2 there are no system sounds. In post #1007 ChrisR states "The Sound requires Admin account login" under 22H2. Well I am accustomed to having system sound feedback as I muddle through diagnostics and such. So I rebuilt my Win10XPE build with the automatic "Switch to Admin". Now I happily have system sounds again even though boot time is a bit longer.

However, after the switch to admin occurs and before the desktop icons appear and PE Network executes, there is a flickering white on black onscreen message saying "Hold escape to prevent startisback from loading".

This flickering message does not appear if using the system account that has no sound.

I was wondering if anyone else has seen this? Has anyone found a way to make it go away? Or has anyone found a way to get sound under the system account? Has anyone tried the Start10 plugin under Tweaks which is supposed to replace StartIsBack?

Thanks for any leads and help.

Thanks, Kyhi. You always come thru. I appreciate your help. So even though it is annoying I guess there is nothing to worry about or to correct.
